Community Guidelines

Echoes works best when people can be honest without making someone else unsafe. These guidelines apply to public thoughts, replies, reactions, and private messages.

Share from your own experience

Talk about what you are feeling, noticing, learning, or wondering. Keep the focus on your experience rather than identifying or targeting another person.

Keep identifying details out

  • Do not post full names, exact addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, license plates, or private account details.
  • Do not use a broad location label to reveal where a specific person lives, works, studies, or can be found.
  • Do not post allegations about an identifiable private person. Rewrite the thought so it cannot identify them.

Not allowed

  • Threats, encouragement of violence, targeted harassment, stalking, or intimidation.
  • Hate or degrading attacks against protected groups.
  • Sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate content, or content involving minors.
  • Scams, spam, impersonation, coordinated manipulation, or malicious links.
  • Instructions or content intended to facilitate serious wrongdoing.

Use reports and blocks

Use Report when content or a message violates these guidelines. Reports are reviewed and may lead to moderation action. Use Block when you do not want to see someone’s content or receive private messages from them. Do not use reports to punish disagreement or silence ordinary criticism.

How moderation works

Echoes may remove content, restrict an anonymous identity, suspend an account, or contact law enforcement when legally required or when safety requires it. We may preserve limited information needed to investigate reports, prevent repeat abuse, or comply with law.

Urgent safety concerns

Echoes is not an emergency or crisis service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. For questions about safety or moderation, email vptrafficmarketingsolutions@gmail.com.
